I Am Fearfully And Wonderfully Made

Today's praise and worship service was awesome. The presence of God filled the sanctuary as we lifted up our hands to honor the Lord with our heart. All that were present in the service were tremendously blessed. Following the communion service, the sermon title, "In the Image of God" was taken from Psalm 139:13-16. The key point of the message was the need to obtain our validation and identity based on what the Lord says rather than our career, house that we own, car that we drive, or influential people that we know. If we depend on people's affirmation of us, we will either get an inferiority complex or become egotistical. King David recognized the marvelous work of God in the creation of man, and therefore praised the Lord for this. Believers are blessed by God with a future and a hope. Therefore, we need to embrace and celebrate our true identify in Christ while rejecting society's label that are not aligned with God's word.
